Tables matches suck. The whole gimmick and how they work it is by setting up cool spots and then interrupting/not doing them until the very end.

Every hardcore match aew has done, I say this as an aew viewer.
Anybstip is salvageable by good workers, ddt proves that. AEW puts cringe names on stuff and drags out random probs mid match for a spot later that looks bad.

that's it. there's been other good matches with table usage but not with the Tables stipulation. winning a belt that way is the most retarded thing ever. sheamus beating cena for the belt by a weak shitty table break was the flukiest title change ever

the first one was pretty good with Undertaker and Kane at unforgiven '98. the ones after all sucked and were pretty pointless. that was an idea that should have been done only once.

the first ones (or first few with a couple exceptions) are still the best. War Games especially started strong but hasn't good been since the 90s when they started to fuck around with it. and the hideous nxt version is not even recognizable as war games.
there hasn't been a good hell in a cell since i think the second one with undertaker and brock lesnar (2015). there's been a bunch since then that have all been bad. they really need to bring back the old cell. the new one sucks ass. if not they should just retire the match.
