I hope he does well. I really do. I saw footage of him not that long ago on Facebook of him wrestling in a local bar while he was still wearing his green trunks in my city up here in Canada and I live in bumfuck nowhere. He's living his dream and it shows he's where he wants to be. He started at the absolute bottom and made his way to the top. Can't fault that. He was burnt so bad by the company he dreamed of joining since he was a kid that he went ot a rival company and clawed his way to the top to starting his own company in the U.S. The good times of his position and standing may be coming to an end, but that doesn't negate the fact that he did it.
His wrestling style can be a bit spastic at times, like kid in the sugary cereal aisle spastic. Some of those snap dragon suplexes or those dragon's off the top ropes; impressive sure, but ultimately more risky than necessary. He's barely in his 40s which is around the time his career should be peaking but his body's already shot because of his style, meanwhile there's wrestlers in their 60s still doing dives out of the ring in Mexico that have half the wear and tear he does. He doesn't seem to give a fuck about his Canadian heritage and Canada could really use a national hero that he could be if he tried. It'd be great if he ultimately ended up in WWE and took the world by storm at what may be the twilight of his career already because there could a marketing machine rocket put on to him that could last decades.
Like it or not, he's one of the best in the world right now and one of the top of all time, but I still have mixed feelings and opinions of Omega. I hope he does well.
