Serious question: Why do AEW fans have such an obsessive hatred of rematches? I mean sure, you can't have the same 1 on 1 twenty consecutive times in a row or it gets stale. But they take it too far. They don't want any. A world champion loses the title and has to putter around in the midcard doing fuck all. Can't have a rematch to try and get it back, nobody would want to see that. Instead lets have the new champ defend against some shitter like Dante Martin or Brody King for no other reason than they never fought before.
