Karrion Kross returned to WWE on the August 6 Smackdown, putting himself in the main event picture.

Fightful reported that day that WWE had interest and had discussed bringing Kross back. We've also heard of a specific pitch within creative and one of the reasons for it. Among the pitches we've learned is that Kross would be inserted into the Drew McIntyre-Roman Reigns feud and be involved in a match for one of Roman Reigns' world titles, as opposed to both.

Fightful had also been informed that USA Network wanted a top title featured on WWE Raw more often, as Roman Reigns is rarely seen on their show since winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. One USA Network pitch was to even have an interim title, though we're not sure that was ever seriously considered by WWE.

As with anything, plans can change, and we haven't heard that this is set in stone.

okay echads im gonna lay the angle out for yas. Clash at the castle roman wins after theory runs down looking to cash in distracting drew. Theory immediately goes to cash in on roman and the ref is like “for which belt” which leads to a long comedic sequence where theory realises the mitb contract is only a match for ONE of the belts. After a long sequence of hilarious facial expressions and pacing around he chooses the wwe title. Ref calls for the bell, he and roman stand up… and drew just murders the cunt for the dq.
We get to raw and theorys technically won his match by dq so hes entitled to a rematch (for one of the belts obviously.) we get roman vs theory vs drew vs cross at the next ppv for one of the belts and one of the other whitebread cocksuckers can win there.

Knowing hhh booking drews just gonna straight win, get cashed in on on raw with theory defending both belts separate at the next ppv against drew and roman respectively losing both and making all three look like doofuses. Cos paul is a hack
