He was pretty funny in Blade as that knucklehead vamp with the baby dick. I guess he just never got offered the right kind of roles and he was never entirely invested as he still had his foot in the business end of E so he could never walk away entirely. I don’t think he’d have been that bad if he just took risks and actually made a few movies

this unironic UAMFBN has a generic, neanderthal face which doesn't fly in hollywood. he can take lots of roids, but headwise he doesn't look like anything people remember. the beard helps cover this up but you can't have a beard for every movie role, and generally the beard enhances his heel characteristics anwyay.
if you don't believe me, look how photoshopped his face is on the cover of that film he did with ariel winter - the marketing team tried their best. also most of his faces in video games or wrestling dolls look like anyone else. a generic, neanderthal face that nobody can remember.
