There is no guarantee that the new ownership group will want a McMahon family member running the ship especially if worse stuff comes out about Vince. Let him live his dream now, he deserves it. He paid his dues to be in this position. I don't think his job as permanent as some may believe but who knows. If he hits a home run right off the bat, this may be a long term thing.
