Hanan and Mayu did a great job of telling the story about the hungry young protégé wanting to show her mentor how much she's learned and that she feels ready to take on anyone. Going for a quick finish by jumping Mayu and almost stealing a pin, showing that she's been watching to see where her weaknesses are. Mayu looked like she had been run over by a car for a few seconds before she realised she was going to have to demonstrate that it isn't quite that easy to take out the Icon.

Mayu sold like a demon and laid it in stiff, worthy of a title match. Her feeling like she needs to take it up a notch to avoid going 0-2 and not losing to her junior already makes Hanan look even more like a threat.

I really like how Hanan sold Mayu not holding back too - one superkick made Hanan look like she'd been shot and the way she sold Mayu's Dragon Suplex after the bell was a nice image of the impetuous youth finding out what happens when you challenge Mayu to give as good as she gets.
