Yeah a lot of guys soured on punk. My dad was from the beginning of the punk scene in the pacific northwest and CM punk was the only connection he had left to wrestling but after the ufc shit and ghosting aew to simp to vince he's just lost all faith in wrestling.

The least he could have done was actually do a little prep work before he got back in the ring. You know do a little training, run the ropes a few times, actually go to the gym for once in a life. But no, he shows up, gets in the ring, he's gassed 5 seconds later and yet he's still going over all those young stars he claims he's in AEW to put over. They put the belt on him in a match where he botched the ending twice and injured himself because he just couldn't be fucking ass to actually shake off some of that ring rust or to do any kind of physical conditioning on his aging, unathletic body.
