No I didnt get paid however I called every day multiple times between 530 am and 10 am and I always got patched through sometimes i had but mere seconds other times I literally got to be on air for at max 10 mins. There were days I was on air 5 different times. Hell I even pissed off the host on a political debate because of some dumb thing that happened the previous day(to clarify this was a rock station) and he put me on ice for a few days cause i legitimately got him mad and I would tell you I'm one of the few to do it. But as it was told to me by both the producer first and than the dude himself that I was too funny to keep off the air.
The only reason Im still not doing it is because I moved and I am not doing a job that has me up at those hours. So now im either a sleep during those hours or watching njpw if its on.
