Insider here. WWE plan on unveiling new belt designs soon. No, they aren't bringing back "big gold" or the "winged eagle". However, the new belt designs won't disappoint.

Honestly, I'd say they need to do the opposite. Split the belts and reinforce the brand split more. Make Raw and Smackdown two distinct products, then it will be a bigger deal if/when they do interbrand matches.
