Why is AEW such an awkward combination of sports-based presentation and sports entertainment? Just pick a genre and perfect it instead of the random aimless monkey shit they shit out every week.

Tony is a shitty booker who is in the closet about his sports entertainment love. He went to fucking summerslam this year for fucks sake. You would never catch Haitch or Vince at All out. He drifted away from sports like presentation and that is what caused the rift between him and Codester. Cody said fuck it I can get more money to do sports entertainment in WWE and now it seems Haitch shares Cody's vision for the most business so it worked out for him in the end

They are trying to be a buffet of sorts. I think it's fine to have variety but I also think you need to establish what your bread & butter is.

To use a food analogy - AEW feels more like random cooked ingredients thrown on a plate rather than a well though out and executed dish.
