With production, Tony hired Keith Mitchell and that's that really, can't get any better, job done and rather well at that. Production-wise.
For creative however, Tony listens to the advice of his EVPs and Jericho.
That's where Tony made a massive mistake. He can listen to Jim Ross, to Anderson, to Blanchard, to Big Shoe and Mark Henry, fucking hell he could bring Jerry Lawler in as Chief Booking Officer for AEW and Tony Khan would still rather placate the Young Bucks who are only in AEW to make themselves look like the best tag team in the world, Kenny Omega who's an athletic shitter who can't do creative and also is in AEW for his own paycheck and nobody else's, and a couple of other guys.
Tony's listening to the wrong people, and because he doesn't have the time to get good at booking, booking creatively, or telling good stories, he cannot afford not to use those people as the source of all of his creative.
Jim Ross would be a better booker right now and I'm saying that because I know it's the absolute last thing he wants to do and he would still do a better job in that demotivated disinterested state than Tony Khan is letting those cunts do.
