Yes and no.
Needles are typically small enough to where they can accurately pinch and skewer nerves.
The problem is that you cannot reasonably see a nerve inside of a living person very easily without an incision, so you're making a pretty bold assumption where the problem might actually be at, so if what OP's image shows is accurate then, yeah, it's complete guesswork whether it hits the right thing or not.

Wasn't Kenny absolutely fucked and not able to even lift? O'Reily's shoulder was fucked months ago and he's still not cleared to compete. This cup shit doesn't help.
