Dave's never actually been able to show a decent negative correlation between women and blood. It's mostly just his headcanon based on a handful of women he knows. In reality, this week's show (very heavy on blood) was up a little on women 18-49 vs last week's, and has been relatively stable recently in spite of a string of bloody matches (barbwire everywhere match, pretty much everything moxley's involved in, darby vs brodie king, etc).

Tony Khan still doesn’t know shit about wrestling. You’re supposed to use this stuff sparingly to keep continued interest. When you have blading in nearly every main event and do a million flippy spots and false finishes every match, people just come to expect it and tune out. No sort of moderation whatsoever.
