He's genuinely not that great. All he ever did was tell people to be themselves and conned people out of their money like the typical Jew. The Dreamer, Sandman, and Raven stuff was all of their own ideas.

Yes. An example of Paul Heyman's "creativity" is putting Luther Reigns in a random tag team with Rene Dupree instead of putting Reigns in a stable (led by Christian) and Tyson Tomko like Reigns wanted. Heyman sucks.

Blow me. They literally came up with Tony Mamaluke's name as he came down to the ring for his match. Every "good" part of ECW came between 95-97 and they coasted off of that for years. Heyman wasn't so much part of that as he let guys go out and try shit, which was a good idea on his part but it's not like he was some genius.

He was first guy to truly know how to book for a smark audience, what he did really well was make his company the top babyface more than any of his wrestlers. This created a dedicated cult fan base. He was a shyster, terrible with money and did it at a time when the smart audience was significantly smaller than it is now. But his model of promotion is what AEW is currently using.
His worst stuff for me is his big match layout (spam big moves) and his low brow cuck obsession.
His smartest stuff was taking terrible wrestlers and getting them over by disregarding traditional wrestling. This hurts the rest of your show though and leads to disaster. AEW half also done this (the Young Bucks ).
