He's one of the few guys out there who genuinely comes across like a larger than life megastar without feeling like his act was pieced together by focus testing. Which is weird to say because he's a literal nepotism baby but he's also the son of Dusty so it makes sense. Carny blood and willing to go to absurd lengths to get himself over. Could have been incredible in AEW if he wasn't booked in his own universe, excited for him to become the face of Paul's WWE nonetheless

There's a lot that goes into it but this is pretty much it for me. Wearing suits and presenting himself and thus wrestling in as positive a light as possible, being thoughtful and well-spoken, the whole package all is the proof of the pudding that Cody lives and breathes for pro wrestling- and not a compromised form of it but just pure wrasslin'. Any missteps he's had or mistakes along the way are easily forgiven and/or forgotten for that reason, because he earns it in how he operates and how much of himself he gives.
