Politics, Vince's hard on for Hulk-a-mania, heel/face turns. Hulk Hogan stayed baby-face until he went to WCW and did the nWo stuff, which helped brand him to impressionable kids at the time. Macho Man did flip flop from face and heel a little bit, which did hurt his draw to the younger market.
