The Choco Pro ace, who has so little demand in his tour of the United States that he has only wrestled 3 matches in over a month, was defeated in two minutes without getting to do anything.
The few fans who are familiar with Baliyan Akki from his work in ChocoPro may have overrated him based on the small promotion’s carefully rehearsed matches.
It was clear from his entrance that he was out of his depth in a major league ring.
In terms of speed, technique, popularity, handsomeness, cleanliness and height, he was wholly outclassed by his opponent Angelico.
It is no exaggeration to say that Balyan Akki is an embarrassment to his native India and may have single-handedly set back the progress that Great Khali, Jinder Mahal and Tiger Jeet Singh made for Indians in the wrestling world.
