When speaking about the upcoming trios match between The Elite and La Faccion Ingobernable, Meltzer was ecstatic about the possibility of each member of the elite facing Dragon Lee, especially Omega and Nick Jackson. He then apparently lost this enthusiasm when discussing Lee's tag partners, stating "and... Andrade... you know... is usually pretty good... and Rush... is hit and miss. He works a different style... so..."

This follows scathing critique by Meltzer of Andrade's early matches in AEW, where he was described as clearly being worse in-ring than the people who were putting him over, and being stuck in a "WWE mindset".
