I always think it's funny when Patreon users like Jim can generate a decent income just from having a few hundred of the same loyal paypigs every month, added on top of their other streams of revenue. There's a gaming youtuber from the 2000s that I still keep up with whose videos average like 500 views but he has 500 patreon followers giving him a minimum of $1.50 a month so literally everyone who watches his videos gives him money, maybe the only youtuber making thousands of dollars a month with zero ad revenue whatsoever
