Tony Khan has no sense of building a match or feud. He has these long periods between PPVs and he doesn't benefit from them. He meanders around for weeks doing the most basic filler segments to """advance""" the story. then he jampacks it all into one segment/show. He cannot pace out a story for his life.
Punk returned last week. Now he and Mox are FULL-ON ON SIGHT HATE EACH OTHER feuding and Punk is a dick. last we saw of Punk, he was stepping away due to injury and he gave a humble speech about trying to do his best. Now he's an arrogant dick who says Moxley is the worst person in the Blackpool Combat Club.
A Smart booker would take these three weeks to transition Punk's character from the humble guy to something else and then build to the match. But Khan NEEDS A TITLE MATCH NEXT WEEK FOR RATINGS SO THEY GOTTA FIGHT NOW AND DO WWE REFERENCES TO MAKE IT FEEL PERSONAL. Fuck this bitch. He can't book shit.
