Jeffrey Nero Hardy has been executed via electric chair earlier this morning for a DUI.

Reportedly Hardy laughed on his way to the execution chamber and said he had no regrets. When asked for last words he refused to give any.

Jeff Hardy was 44 years old at the time of his death.
