It's really REALLY weird how they seem to be purposely burning through money to put on a product that even AEW itself knows is disordered and helter skelter. The program design is confused, feuds either don't make sense or go on for too long, it's all just a disjointed mess.
https://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=345030 --- 2 hours, 4 matches, 1 squash, about 54:50 total. Where is Ruby Soho, Eddie Kingston, House of Black or Ricky Starks? Why do they keep doing this "every other week" shit with talent? Makes it impossible to follow unless you watch both programs, a noble goal...but the RATINGS SHOW THAT ISN'T FUCKING WORKING!! So stop trying to force it, RETARDS
AEW refuse to do promos earlier in the night for stuff that happens later, instead saving them for matches for FRIDAY or, worse, NEXT week. Perfect example with Young Bucks - how hard is it to have a :90 spot with Cutler working out, "You guys are going to pick me, right?" "We're still deciding, we need you warmed up just in case!" Have the Bucks whispering that a mystery wrestler will be there **IF** his private jet shows up on time, IF he's "cleared to compete", etc -- If it gets a few thousand to post on Twitter/Facebook/etc that Omega might show up, another 70k or so fans might have tuned in (out of boredom if nothing else), that might easily get them their million
AEW's core audience isn't big enough for million+ on a regular basis. They can't get there with casuals either, because like it or not, Television is an ENTERTAINMENT medium, not a SPORTS medium. AEW's only hope at a consistent million is WWE fans tuning in, so.....give them what they're used to. STOP with the fucking marathon matches, and give MORE matches to MORE performers. Let them get their TV time, get their moves in, hit the finisher, pose for the fans, and dip. TRIED AND TRUE FORMULA. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel Tony you FUCKING MARK.
