>>6901305It would have been fucking dogshit. Pretty much every storyline WWE have attempted in the past two decades has been allowed to just sort of fizzle out without any meaningful conclusion. If Benoit never did what he did it would have been terminated just as abruptly with the only difference being it would have went on for the better part of a year before Vince got bored with it and scrapped it. Basically just think of the way the Anonymous Raw GM angle went and it would have been pretty much the same kind of bullshit. Everyone would just sort of stop talking about it and then Vince would show up on tv a few months later, maybe make a vague remark about the angle or just ignore it completely and it's back to the status quo after that.
