He's done all there is to be done in New Japan, he even said he can't take the intense schedule anymore in his backstage comments after his G1 loss. Might be taking a break or he might even be wanting to transition to another promotion like AEW or WWE now that it's under new leadership.

His him and his girlfriend were supposed to move to Japan but she had Visa issues and were stuck in the UK during COVID. She signed with NXTUK due to that and seems to be moving with him to Florida for NXT. I think Ospreay will be based in USA and will obviously still wrestle for NJPW. Expect him to be in AEW more regularly if this is true. Over the last year that he has was in USA he would wrestle on STRONG as well as indies such as Warrior Wrestling, House of Glory, GCW, and West Coast Pro Wrestling. So he may appear there or other companies.

They were the UK Superindie next to Progress and now they're an excursion destination for young boys. The UK losing
literally EVERYONE that could draw a quid fucked them. Maybe they'll get some of the NXT UK releases if they're lucky and get something resembling a legit indie.
