From the August 20th WOR.

>8:12 - “Let’s face it: A year ago right now, they were on the verge of beating RAW. And they did a few weeks in September, and their house show business in Q4 beat WWE’s, so they were in the hunt and it was very exciting to see this 2 year old company beating a company that’s 13 times as big. And now, the way the trajectory is going, it was like “oh, these guys are rising and WWE is falling every year,” and then it stopped. And now the situation is reversed. It’s AEW that’s falling and WWE that’s really doing great.”

>9:36 - “They were never at the level WCW was, it was way more popular, but they were on the rise. And they were being competitive, and they didn’t need Hulk Hogan and all those guys to do it. And then things happened and WWE went up, and when that happened with WCW, we saw WCW just frickin’ collapse.”

>12:00 (about Paul Boesch in a promotional war) - “His side was the side that had bigger name wrestlers. And no matter how good the matches the other guys were having, they would just blow them away as far as the show went, but they outdrew them constantly because they had bigger names to the public. And no matter how good their matches were, they couldn’t catch up.”

> 27:57 - “The USA network will completely collapse if they lose RAW, so the value of RAW to USA is very, very high. And there’s other people that want RAW. Everybody wants RAW. WWE is a very valuable franchise right now, they’re gonna get a big, big increase in rights fees when that deal comes up, and they’ll be far more profitable.”
