Jericho, he dropped it too soon and that’s why ratings tanked. Keeping it on him through covid would have preserved it since a babyface needs a crowd with fans to draw & moxley couldn’t carry it

Kenny had the best matches if only due to Christian and Danielson. Mox's first reign was probably the most entertaining overall reign. Hangman wasn't that bad until the Cole feud and unfortunately when he was finally finding some fire as a champion he had to drop to Punk.

This. Jericho was actually good too.
When tough guy moxley lost to the nub or a microphone it ruined his credibility and now he bleeds everywhere and no sells murder blows as some weird midlife crisis. Every champion since has been barely featured and had no actual programmes with a challenger besides a forced 3 week build at best with no reason behind it

for Jericho and Mox's first run, they were still using the real $40,000 belt made by Dave Millican. now they're using the replicas they sell for $700. i found it sad and funny at the same time when this belt debuted they made such a big deal out of how expensive it was and how it took 40+ hours in labor just in setting the stones. now they're using mass produced belts the marks have on their bookshelf at home that don't even have real leather straps.

I didn't watch or care about any of the impact stuff.

There was also the three way with Pac and OC, which sucked. The legendary explosion match which painfully average even before the botch ending. And the match where he made Jungle Boy "look good" by constantly escaping his finisher.

it was pretty widely reported they swapped out the original belt for the shop belt awhile back. new japan did the same thing with the v4 belt toward the end of its life when they put it on EVIL and started to kill their company. as for the bit about the stone work etc, they literally cut a promo in the ring bragging about it to build it up when the belt debuted.
