Honestly it's AEW that I tire of. I first got into NJPW for NJPW not all that indy nonsense. That said, while I still like NJPW the shine is off the apple for me. The supercard with NOAH was cool so I just might have to finally take the plunge.

Nakajima shoot knocked out DDT's top champ at their yearly inter-promotional event, (probably) wasn't intentional but it made Endo look like a bitch and derailed his title reign since he had to vacate it, and DDT decided not to put it back on him at their recent big show. Akiyama was pissed enough that he broke kayfabe in a backstage interview and basically said that wrestlers should stop working so stiff and look after one another

See, the thing with NOAH lately is that they do something really cool and then immediately shit the bed afterwards. Watch them book a really great match between KENOH and Nakajima for the GHC hebyq title and then sign someone like Marty Scurll shortly after.

Same thing happened with AJPW from 2016-2019ish they had a core of guys and bolstered by outsiders and had bangers but now they look so dire and have no choice but to force push shitters instead of the traditional slow burn build. It's alway good to have homegrown guys but the talent pool in japan is so small to begin with and everyone just wants to go to NJPW with job security

He's one of NOAH's best workers right now, he mostly uses his karate background to deliver the meanest kicks and strikes in the business but also uses the wrestling style he learned from Kensuke Sasaki who is like a father to Nakajima
