>>6926212I think it's all part of the plan to basically make NJPW a dual gender promotion. They started off slow with just having a women's match or having some of the girls give flowers, and now they are moving over to this. Eventually, half the show will be women. They'll eventually be forced to put them in main events and before you know it, they'll be headlining the Dome. It'll happen just like it did in WWE, which went from having no women's matches at times when I was a kid to having Mania headlined by them.
The women are just no-risk money making machines. They just have to be pretty. Men don't care if they suck in the ring and to be honest, I think they could make money off of girls who don't even step in the ring. The media also gives them positive coverage for featuring women.
