It means whoever trained her did it correctly. Stoping to fix your gear from riding up in the middle of a real competition exposes the business. Granted it's carny shit that gives you an excuse to perv on the girls, but its kayfabe sound.
Strangely enough if you listen to any of the old-time women, they 100% buy this too and say it's a major pet peeve when they see someone stopping to fix it anywhere other than a rest spot.

The match was really, really bad. To not be able to have a 4 minute match with someone experienced is pretty sad. But its all fixable, she just needs a few months in the performance center and then re-debut in a few months with a new gimmick.
