For context though, he's referring to when WWE decided to add 30 minutes extra to Smackdown to overlap with Rampage. Rampage ended up doing a higher demo and The Bunny beat Roman's segment. WWE confirmed this in the lawsuit they recently had against MLW who tried to say that WWE had a monopoly on TV.

Smackdown was on FS1 that night. That's the whole reason Tony wanted to pull this "Friday Night War" stunt. He knew they were at a disadvantage. TBS is in more homes than FS1, plus Smackdown gets a lot of viewers that don't even have cable to begin with, and therefore can't watch on FS1.
