Why is it called the IWGP Championship? Why isn't it the NJPW Championship? Who the fuck is IWGP and why should I care abiut their belt?

IWGP is supposed to be New Japan's governing body. I think "New Japan World Championship" sounds awful.

Stardom wasn't just Stardom World Champion but they called World of Stardom Champion. TJPW called their top title Princess of Princess Champion
