>>6942074I just watched the gameplay again to take a closer look at these and there seems to be quite a lot of them that happen in this match alone. There's a taunt buff and a running attack buff but there's also a springboard buff, a buff for quick mounting the turnbuckle, a buff for kicking out of a pin ect. It seems to put a little yellow glow around the momentum bar when it happens so it makes me think it might have something to do with that.
They seem inconsistent too because Kenny got the buff for doing a running corner attack but Cole did the same thing and he didn't get one. I noticed when they open the moveset screen when they scrolled down a bit it gave the input for the springboard attack and it says "skill needed" beside it. So maybe certain skills let you do certain moves and also dictate which buffs you can get but who knows.
Another interesting thing I noticed was that there's a buff for varied offense and also a little pop up for stale offense that has a blue tint to it like the body part damage icons. It could mean it's a debuff of some sort. It's kinda cool that the game has a mechanic that rewards you for mixing up your moves like a real wrestling match and possibly punishing you for spamming the same shit over and over. Uno made a big deal about how simple and easy to play the game is but this makes it look like it might actually be a bit deeper than it let's on.
