Go look up Vader vs Antonio Inoki, ya marks. This was an amazing callback and a great setup to what will be one of the greatest feuds and storylines of all time. It's going to make the original nWo look like chickenshit.

Mox ain't Vader clown, and Punk certainly isn't Inoki
The reason that worked was because Inoki's push was all consuming and never ending and it got Vader over as unbeatable, Mox has already been there for years and Punk played it off like he lost because of his previous injury
I'm only taking this seriously because Tony probably thought of this when he booked it, and now he thinks he's a genius

Inoki was basically Japan's Hogan too, so the fans were rioting like a Soccer cup game after the quick squash. Jap crowds during that era were extremely loud, unlike the quiet ass faggots of today. It gave Vader instant nuclear heat too and he deserved it. He looks every bit the monster. The Punk thing just seems to be confusing to everyone, even those how always hated Punk are confused by it. Why book Punk as badly as his MMA career?

Your dreams are cute, but nothing that AEW will ever do is on that level. Vader vs Inoki drew so much heat that it started a riot while punk vs moxley just confused and frustrated a lot of people. However i will give them some praise for having punk lose.
