>>6954853My contention has long been that there are only three real draws in the Holiday Fed. At the top of the list is Christmas, the Hulk Hogan of holidays. Such a draw that they can start running promos for it months early to no ill effect and Christmas songs and movies are consistent dimes drawers.
Number two draw is New Year. Almost interchangable with Christmas but I give Christmas the slight edge. Still a hell of a worker though. Gets over everywhere, is a draw. After that is Fourth of July. Mega draw in America which is the biggest territory. Everyone loves it. Real flashy and good shit, pal.
Now a few come close. Memorial Day is upper-midcard but it lacks the charisma to really make the main event. Did get a mini version in Veteran's Day aka Memorial Dayito though. You don't get the day off for Halloween so it can't be a main eventer. Thanksgiving is the old guy who sticks around too long even though he can't go. You sit through Thanksgiving because you're waiting for Big Dimes Christmas. Valentine's is a solid midcarder but has had a better run in Japan, tag teaming with White Day.
Everything after that is just dimeless shitter territory. St. Patrick's Day? Presidents Day? Fucking KWABza? Fuck off with this shit.
