Who'd take Billy Gunn seriously as a coach? It's obvious that many of the young guys are already far better than Billy Gunn was in his prime. I mean, what's he gonna do? Teach them how to rely on their partner to cut a promo for him, then have a mediocre 4 minute match? Or maybe he could teach them how to no-sell, like he did to Darby Allin kek.

Billy Gunn is a hell of a worker kid. Anyone who is smart to the biz will take advantage of guys like him, Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson, Dustin Rhodes and Pat Buck. If I was a wrestler I would have made it the first thing to do is get to known em and pick their brains out.
