The segment got the pop, not him personally. They were expecting some followup to the angle which of course didn't actually happen.
He is good, the way he has been used is the problem. The booking. That's what is bad. The talent are mostly great, the thing people hate about aew is the way everything is run and the attitudes of some of the flippyshitter faggots.
