This list is based on people who's matches drew 10,000 fans or more to the arenas on a consistent basis. Crush Gals may have been big TV draws, but in terms of actually putting butts in the seats, they aren't in the same league as the others mentioned.

The nWo was huge in wrestling but a lot of the top WCW guys wouldn't work house shows, and since this list is based purely on attendance, that really hurts their rankings here. By all metrics, Hulk Hogan was the biggest draw in wrestling in 1997 in terms of ratings, PPV buyrates, and everything else but like I said, he never worked house shows and appeared selectively. That's why he's only ranked number 9 for 1997.
