Late 90s, Sting is a heavy duty drug addict who hit rock bottom personally due to his drugs. To try and save her husband and their marriage, Sting's wife turns to a local church and manages to get Sting to attend rehab and drug addiction counseling sessions at the church.
While hanging out at the church and getting Sting off drugs, Sting and his wife become born again Christians as part of the whole "maybe the reason our lives are so fucked up is that we've turned our back on God and lost the basic moral clarity that comes with being religious" thing that people sometimes fall into when they realized how bad their lives are and look for something to get them out of their usual toxic life patterns and behaviors and re-enforce being on the straight and narrow.
While in marriage counseling, Sting admits to fucking other women behind his wive's back and defended it by saying EVERYONE fucking around, including his BFF Lex Luger.
Luger's wife and Sting's wife are close, at which point Sting's wife demanded that he tell her that Lex was cheating on her. Sting does so and Lex's wife divorces him on the spot, causing Lex to end his friendship with Sting.
But by this point, Sting's wife has got the religious fever going on and feeling that they need to go a bit further in the name of "coming clean from past toxic behaviors" and makes Sting write down the names of EVERY FRIEND in wrestling he has that is cheating on their wives. She then personally called each wrestler's wife and outed their husband's adultery to them.
