Honestly TK. The company is still so young that I don't think there's anyone in the back who would step in. Least with someone like Vince, you knew people like Triple H were in the wings just waiting for the spot, but TK is a one man show right now.

Wouldn't shake the industry, but I imagine someone like Okada dying would be fucking INSANE on the japanese pro wrestling scene.

You guys are giving too much credit to Tony and AEW as a whole. If Tony outright died tomorrow someone, probably one of the VPs, would step in and significantly improve or fuck up the show. But it wouldn't ruin the industry as a whole.

which is exactly why it would fuck up the wrestling industry. Whether people like it or not, AEW is the only op`tion for wrestlers who want to have some real presence on national TV nowadays, Tony dies, Shahid sells it and Gaytch will take the bait and acquire it for pennies. Then we're back to WWE having a monopoly on wrestling

I would say not "one" death would fuck up the business but more of like a case of several at once like in a nasty car crash or a plane ride. If Roman/Seth/Mox/Kenny died tomorrow they'll have a few tributes then someone will be thrown to their spot but if they died at the same time both companies are fucked for months.

It was but AEW is slowly but surely becoming like WWE by hiring people for fun and not doing anything with them. But desu when someone is not given a chance by AEW or WWE it's because someone is better and they haven't proven their worth yet.

if AEW goes away wrestlers don't have another place to go for jobs anymore, WWE hasn't had a bigger monopoly than that since WCW died, but the business was making much more money back then
ROH doesn't exist anymore, Impact barely does, and AEW signed half the independent scene
If TK dies and AEW collapses, everybody has to move to Japan

Okada? I don't really think people would give that much of a shit. The last time Japs mourned a wrestler was Giant Baba, so it'd had to be someone at his caliber. Sure there was Inoki who is up there, but he hasn't done shit in wrestling in years. It won't be the same as when Baba died, coz Baba was still an active wrestler when he bit the bucket.
