[Sad news]
Baliyan Akki (27) has withdrawn from the United States and retreated back to the Japanese indies.

Despite his lack of ability and short stature, the Indian wrestler miraculously managed to debut in AEW. However, his debut was not a memorable one, and he did not gain much recognition. He had little demand from regional bookers, often sitting idly in hotels and traveling with Emi Sakura as her ringside second in AEW with no storyline explanation.

His return to Japan will be in a six-man tag team match at Gatoh Move's 10th anniversary event. Even though he is the holder of the promotion's most prestigious title, the Super Asia belt, he has been placed in the undercard. Even with the inclusion of Riho, who is returning to Gatoh Move for the first time in nearly three years, this match looks hardly interesting.

This matchup and card positioning is without question the result of an embarrassing US tour which has caused a steep plunge in his marginal reputation in Japan.

The wall of the world proved too high for the Indian ace.
