My wife and I were at a Shine show, probably 2016. Small bar, GA seating unless you got front row seats. We got in just as the doors opened, stood near the entrance ramp, my wife stayed there to save our spot while I went to get drinks.
Couple drunk guys come in and stand next to my wife at the entrance ramp and begin crowding toward her, and eventually she catches an elbow from a dude. She bumps into the railing at the side of the ramp and hits the floor.
Garrett storms out from backstage and says--loudly--to my wife (who hasn't stood up yet), "Listen, I know you're already drunk, but could you not bump the railing? You're going to mess up my entrance."
Now, don't get me wrong, my wife and I are drunks. But this was our first show at that place, hadn't had a drink yet, and it was all caused by a large group of guys who happened to knock the one woman there over. And Garrett comes out, singles out the woman on the ground to yell at, and stomps backstage.
To their credit, the guys were super apologetic and moved over and we didn't have another issue with them all night. But Garrett decided to be an asshole to someone who just wanted to watch the show. For that, she can go fuck herself.
