Hopefully he can make the jump to WWE. His non gimmick singles matches usually steal the show. But with TK booking him he's always going to be on Sting baby sitting duty and shoved into multiman matches, and shoved off of ladders.

If Darby didn't want to be with Sting anymore I'm sure Tony would find a new guy to do shit with Sting, this keeps him in a place he can do the other shit he's doing. Darby wouldn't have time to direct shit if he moved to WWE. He's written a feature length movie and assembled a team for it.

This is headcanon posted by retards who don't watch AEW and aren't aware that Darby cooled off months before Punk ever showed up there. Punk actually gave Darby some small amount of relevance again. Regardless Darby is now in Cody's old spot of trying to get the new guys over, which is a fine place to be given that he isn't going to be in the title picture and already had a killer TNT run.
