It was kinda cool because of just how hard tge crowd was into it, but it exposed Eddie's bad wrestling and made Ishii look like a geek having to sell it. Ishii jobbing to Eddie at All Out is gonna be the most second most pathetic loss he'll suffer in the past 12 years (First being Chase Owens)

It felt similar to Moxley v ishii in how it was obviously an American wrestler way out of their depth trying to act like they can fit in, but the Mox match was unironically still much better.

The only time I enjoyed Kingston's puro LARPing gimmick was at Forbidden Door because the match was built around Suzuki BTFOing Kingston 5 times out of 6 whenever they encountered one another. It was so funny.

More than anything this match gave me slight go away heat for Ishii after having to hear from AEW fans about how amazing he was when he was having these types of phoning it in matches with AEW guys. He's redeemed himself in my eyes in this G1 but he's dangerously bordering SANADA territory for me.
