If that isn't true, then Cody doing it on his first try or Cena doing it with the US title should give them a blueprint for distinguishing titles with different feels and gimmicks. If the TNT is regularly defended on tv with open challenges or regular matches and you keep building to the possibility if it dropping at any time, then you have an important title that people want to see the matches for that in no way interferes with the main title which has a very different system and presentation. TNT was fine until Darby because they gave him too many underwhelming matches with no suprise factor and no feeling that he would lose, Miro was then good again but Sammy lost a lot of steam with a bad face turn, Cody then fixed that completely and had them crazy for Sammy but bad booking and drama made them turn on him and it was lost ever since. Wardlow should have gave it some importance but he has been booked as unimportant in the grand scheme since beating MJF.
