William Patrick Corgan is *still* booking the revived NWA wrestling promotion. There is nothing stranger than watching a PPV with a bunch of (bad) indie wrestlers trying to pay homage to (mostly bad) 70s and 80s wrestling, and then having that all capped off with a fucking Billy Corgan promo.
Well, okay, one thing stranger: he's spent the last two weeks defending booking a wrestler on his show who both (a) is a Fox News regular and (b) was sued by another Fox News regular for sexual harassment. And even that's only stranger because said wrestler is Tyrus, a man who literally no one has ever asked to see wrestle.
Also, I am only just now realizing that last weekend's PPV being a two night show with like 12 matches per show all that went on way too goddamn long is *exactly* what a PPV booked by Billy Corgan should be. At least the man is consistent.
