This is more /pw/ being too stupid to understand anything. It’s extremely obvious Punk will turn heel by getting outside interference to help him win. The clear storyline is he is too old and injured to pull it off legit anymore, so he’ll recruit someone to help him win.

That said, AEW is well known to fuck everything up so if this doesn’t happen, don’t be surprised. It’s the only logical way I see out of this dumpster fire.
