Wasn't there a rumour saying Hangman was supposed to cut a heel promo but mentioned "worker's rights" and put himself over instead. If true I don't entirely blame Phil.

Probably in the end we will find that Nick Khan shoved Colt into ROH because he thought he would pre-emptively stop any lockerroom issues with Punk but only ended up creating them. If this whole thing isn't a work I can honestly see that it was once again miscommunication on the part of AEW higher ups

Yeah, Cabana would have been AEW champ right now if it wasn't for Punk, not like he had a few matches and was never really used again in AEW way before Punk even arrived. I definitely don't remember his main role being standing in the background of Dark Order segments.
