Plans are for MJF to be handed the world title as there will be no tournament or "interim champion". This way they can keep MJF heel for a potential Punk return. MJF's first feud will be with Moxley.

Trios title will be held up for a match between FTR/Wardlow and a team to be determined. Possibly Matt Cardona/Brian Myers/Mark Starling, as Tony is wanting to rebuild relations with the NWA in recent months.

Punk was pissed, but mainly for Ace getting fired and did beg for him to have mercy shown to him since he was only trying to protect Punk. Omega and Bucks are also livid; Omega in particular only got half his punishment because he tried to break up the fight but had said some nasty words to Ace's wife that made it hard for Tony to absolve him of any punishment. The Bucks meanwhile continue to claim that they did nothing wrong and are furious that Punk didn't get fired/they are being punished/stripped of the trios belt.
