CM Phil is a great example. The UFC would have been more than happy for him to be a contender in the division so that they could get a little PPV boost from his fanboys and e-groids. Having him KWAB himself twice doesn't do much but say "Oh look, fake fighting doesn't translate well into MMA" which is superfluous.
